Welcome to Country Canines!
Dog training in Basingstoke, Hook, Hartley Wintney & surrounding Hampshire villages
Hi, I’m Grace, the founder of Country Canines. I’ve spent more than 15 years working with dogs, and I share my life with two of my own: Ivy, a Working Cocker Spaniel, and Libby, a Labrador. I know first-hand how exciting—and sometimes tricky—it can be to bring up a puppy, manage everyday care, and stay consistent with training as your dog grows.
I hold a BSc in Psychology and I’m an advanced dog training instructor with the APDT. I’ve also completed canine first aid and dog body language training through the IMDT, and I’m an affiliate trainer with Pawsable, an assistance dog charity. Based in North Hampshire, we offer positive, reward-led training to support recall, loose-lead walking, and other key skills, helping owners and dogs grow closer.

We are run dog training classes at our Hook and Hartley Wintney venues and offer 1-1 training around North Hampshire. If you have any questions about our services or would like to book an appointment, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can reach us by email at dogtrainingwithcountrycanines@gmail.com or by phone at 07909014223.

ABOUT
US

We are passionate about helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships as force free dog trainers
No harsh methods, prong collars or shock collars are ever used!
Our highly recommended and experienced dog trainers work with you and your country dogs to develop a training plan tailored to your specific needs, no matter their breed. We believe that training should be fun and rewarding for both you and your dog without the need for fear based methods of teaching or the use of punishment. We use psychological training methods to adapt and change behaviour and work alongside what motivates the dog.
People often ask 'How did you get the dog to do that?' My answer more often than not is 'Sausages!'
